2.1.7. Anticreeping system
Principle of functioning
On all considered models the anticreeping system serially is installed.

- For activation of anticreeping system turn the ignition key in the provision of "OFF" and take out it. The engine immobilizator will join, in confirmation to what the indicator of a condition of anticreeping system in the left lower part of the dashboard will begin to blink (No. 19 on the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Elements of Management on the dashboard). Then close all doors and a cowl and lock doors by means of a key or DU (see the Section of the Door). The indicator will cease to blink and will continuously burn within 30 seconds then will start over again blinking, confirming activation of anticreeping system.
- If doors (including a back door) or a cowl are open violently (without use of a key or DU), and also if the wire is disconnected from the rechargeable battery, the activated anticreeping system will include about a minute a horn (in the siren mode) and external lighting fixtures in the blinking mode. If after unlocking of one of doors not to insert a key into the ignition lock during operation of the alarm system, the lock of a door will automatically be locked.
- For switching off of the alarm system unlock the door lock by means of a key or DU, or include ignition.
- For deactivation of anticreeping system unlock any of doors by means of a key or DU.

- Open all windows and activate anticreeping system. Wait for turning on of the indicator in the blinking mode.
- Now when unlocking the lock of one of doors from within, and also when opening a cowl the alarm system has to turn on.
- At negative results of check address the representative of the Lexus company for malfunction elimination.

Immobilizator of the engine
Immobilizator of the engine is intended for prevention of start of the engine by the key which is not corresponding to this car. At installation of a key the transponder located in a key head transfers to the ignition lock to anticreeping system an electronic code. At discrepancy of the transferred code with the code which is stored in memory of anticreeping system, the engine will not manage to be started. In confirmation of coincidence of codes the indicator of a condition of anticreeping system on the dashboard has to go out.
