2.2.3. Transportation of children
For safety of transportation of children of younger and middle age it is necessary to use the special children's seats and means of fixing interfaced to standard seat belts. Detailed instructions for placement and installation of child seats have to be attached to them, in case of need address for consultations the representative of the Lexus company.
Always seat the child on the BACK seat of the car and reliably fix the child by means of a special children's seat or a seat belt. The children's seat should be established on the average place of a back seat. If to use the average place of a back seat there is no opportunity, use side places of a back seat, as a last resort – a front passenger seat. At the same time it will be required to transfer manually a seat belt to the blocking mode (see the general information on seat belts in the Section Seat belts). When using child seats with additional top fastening will require to install an additional anchor on the back of a back seat.

Do not allow the child to stand, kneel and move in salon during the movement of the car. Operation of safety cushions at collision can cause to the child a serious trauma or even to lead to a lethal outcome, especially if the child is not fixed or fixed incorrectly. As children it is less and more weakly than adults, the risk of receiving injuries by them at operation of safety cushions is higher.
