The switches and governing bodies located on a steering column
Left understeering switch
Switching of operating modes of external lighting fixtures

The left understeering switch is intended for switching of the modes of functioning of headlights, the alarm system by driving beam and managements of indexes of turns. |
Switching of the modes of headlights and parking light, and also switching off of headlights is made by means of rotation of the handle on the end of the switch:
- At combination risks on the rotary handle with the inscription "OFF" on the lever external lighting fixtures are switched off;
- For inclusion of parking light, illumination of registration plate, marker lights and illumination of the dashboard combine to risk on the rotary handle with horizontal line on the switch (it corresponds to the first fixed position of the handle at its turn from itself from the provision of "OFF");
- For inclusion in addition to the lighting fixtures listed in the previous paragraph, passing or driving beam of headlights combine an arrow on the rotary handle with the pictogram
on the switch (it corresponds to the second fixed position of the handle at its turn from itself from the provision of "OFF"); - For inclusion of automatic control of external lighting fixtures combine an arrow on the rotary handle with the inscription "AUTO" on the switch (it corresponds to the third fixed position of the handle at its turn from itself from the provision of "OFF").

At a car complete set headlights for the movement during daylight hours (DRL), headlights will be included with low intensity even at the switch installed in situation to "OFF" if the parking brake is released and the engine is started. |
The automatic mode means inclusion and switching off of external lighting fixtures depending on illumination of the sensor located at the top of the left part of the dashboard. For nedyozhny operation of automatic equipment do not close this sensor. |

Right understeering switch

In order to avoid damage of the mechanism of screen wipers it is not necessary to include them if the purified glass dry, and also to move them with hands. In order to avoid damage of brushes of screen wipers do not allow their contact with gasoline and other solvents. In order to avoid damage of the pump of windscreen washer do not use it at the empty tank of the washing liquid. |
The right understeering switch is intended for management of cleaners and washers of glasses which functioning is possible only at the included ignition.

Governing bodies of functioning of a tempostat
|
|
Use of a tempostat at the intense movement (for example, in the city), on slippery and twisting roads, and also in other road situations which can force to change speed can lead to loss of control over driving. In order to avoid casual activation of a tempostat do not leave included in it if it is not used. |
Tempostat is intended for maintenance of constant speed of the car (not lower than 40 km/h) without need to hold a leg on the accelerator pedal.
The switch of management of functioning of a tempostat settles down on a steering wheel on the right (see the illustration Arrangement and purpose of switches of management of the provision of front seats).

Horn switch
The button of inclusion of a horn is built in a stupichny part of a steering wheel.
Clamp of a tilt angle of a steering column
The steering column should be adjusted so that the steering wheel was opposite to a thorax of the driver. Situation at which the steering wheel is opposite to a face of the driver is wrong as reduces protective functions of a forward safety cushion of the driver.

It is not necessary to regulate an inclination of a steering column during driving since at the same time control over driving can be lost. |
The governing bodies located under a combination of devices
Governing bodies under a combination of devices are located at the left and to the right of a steering column.
To the right of a steering column the switch of ignition and blocking of a steering wheel settles down; at the left the switch of adjustment of external rear-view mirrors, the regulator of intensity of illumination of devices, the indicator of anticreeping system and the control panel of memory of setting up the provision of a driver's seat are placed (see the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Elements of Management on the dashboard).
The indicator of anticreeping system and the control panel of memory of setting up the provision of a driver's seat are considered above (see respectively Sections Anticreeping system and Adjustment of seats and head restraints); functioning of the regulator of intensity of illumination of devices is clear from its name therefore only the switch of ignition and the regulator of external rear-view mirrors are described below.
Switch of ignition and blocking of a steering wheel

At the movement of the car it is not necessary to operate with the ignition switch, understeering switches and switches located under a combination of devices, pushing hands between spokes of a steering wheel since it can lead to loss of control over the car. |
Switch of ignition and blocking of a steering wheel
The ignition switch (the ignition lock) is located to the right of a steering column and has the following four provisions:
LOCK — This position of the switch of ignition is used for blocking of a steering wheel and extraction of the ignition key. To turn the ignition key in the provision of "LOCK", transfer the sector lever to situation "P", press on a key in the provision of "ACC" and turn on yourself (counterclockwise).

Blocking of a steering wheel cannot replace the parking brake. When leaving the car on the parking move the AT selector lever to situation "P", completely you cock the parking brake and switch off the engine. |
ACC — In this situation is unblocked a steering wheel and car electric equipment can be used.
|
|
When leaving the ignition key in the provision of "ACC" when opening a door of the driver the sound signal warning that the key is in the ignition lock joins. |
ON — Normal position of the ignition key after start of the engine. Before start of the engine at turn of a key in this situation it is necessary to check short-term operation of the control lamps which are built in a combination of devices.

Do not leave the ignition key in the provision of "ACC" at the switched-off engine since at the same time there is a bystry discharge of the battery. |
START — Is used for start of the engine. When keeping the ignition key in this situation the starter will scroll the engine. After an otpuskaniye the key comes back to the provision of "ON".

Do not turn the ignition key in position of LOCK or ACC at the movement of the car since it can lead to controllability loss by the car and to violation of functioning of brakes. |
Regulator of external rear-view mirrors
The regulator of external rear-view mirrors allows to change the provision of external mirrors and works at provisions of "ACC" and "ON" of the ignition key. For switching between adjustment of the right or left mirror move the lever located over the switch, respectively aside, designated "R" or "L". For change of provision of a mirror press the arrows of the corresponding direction applied on the 4-position regulator.

Governing bodies and the equipment of salon on the central console
On the central console of the car there is the greatest number of bodies of its management and the equipment of salon.
It is possible to carry the switches located on forward section of the console and also the lever of the selector of the AT modes to governing bodies. The description only of switches is given below, - the description of the audio system and systems of heating and To/in is provided to Devices of ensuring comfort; the description of the lever of the selector is provided to Methods of operation and auxiliary systems. The multipurpose display, ware boxes, coasters, an ashtray, the lighter and nests of selection of power belong to the equipment of salon.
Switch of the alarm system
The switch of the alarm system (see No. 5 on the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Elements of Management on the dashboard) is located at the left on the central console and designated by a sign of the alarm system (triangle). The switch works in any position of the lock of ignition. For turning on of the alarm system press the switch button; for switching off – press the button once again.
Back door glass heating switch
The switch of heating of glass of a door of a back and external rear-view mirrors (see No. 12 on an illustration Governing bodies and control of systems of heating and To/in) is located on the control panel of a heater and To/in the control unit of a heater and К/В. The heater is intended for removal of condensate and hoarfrost. If at a window the thick snow layer was formed before including heating, clear snow. Inclusion and switching off of a heater is made by pressing the specified switch. For inclusion of a heater the ignition key has to be in the provision of "ON". At inclusion of heating works corresponding To/L, located over the switch. The heater is automatically switched off after 15 minutes of work, and also at switching off of ignition.

In order to avoid damage of threads of an incandescence of a heater it is not necessary to apply sharp objects, and also abrasive detergents to purification of glass of a door of a back. For prevention of a bystry discharge of the battery it is not necessary to include a heater at the switched-off engine. |
Switches of heating of seats
Switches (see No. 11 on the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Elements of Management on the dashboard) heating of seats are intended for inclusion and switching off of heating of a seat of the driver (the left switch) and the forward passenger (the right switch). For inclusion of a heater the ignition key has to be in the provision of "ON". At inclusion of heating works To/L, built in the switch.
Switch of the AT modes
The switch of the AT modes (see No. 13 on the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Elements of Management on the dashboard) has three provisions which purpose is given below:
"PWR" — This mode is used for sports style of driving at which bystry acceleration is required. AT switches to the raising transfers at higher speed of the car.
"ECT" is the normal operating mode of AT recommended for usual driving.
"SNOW" — This mode is intended for start-off from the place in sand or dirt, in snow or on ice. AT begins to work with the 2nd transfer.

In confirmation of inclusion of the PWR or SNOW mode lights up corresponding To/L in a combination of devices (see Kombinition's Section of devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and indicators). |
Lighter and ashtray
|
|
Do not hold the lighter pressed after it is ready to use since it can lead to its overheat; for the same reason the lighter should be taken from its nest if it automatically did not come back to a starting position in 30 seconds after inclusion. |
|
|
It is not necessary to use an ashtray for storage of any things since at contact with them of the lit cigarettes or matches there can be a fire. |
The ashtray is located in a forward part of the console between seats. For use of an ashtray press its cover. To take an ashtray, pull it up.
Nests of selection of power

|
For prevention of failure of a safety lock, use the additional equipment calculated on voltage of 12 V and consuming no more than 120 W. If nests of selection of power are not used, close their covers to prevent short circuit at hit of foreign objects in them. |
Ware box in the console between seats
The ware box located in the console between seats has two offices opening independently from each other. For opening pull for the handle forward.

Coasters
|
|
It is not necessary to use a coaster during the movement of the car since at accident or sharp braking the objects established in coasters can be the reason of a trauma of the driver and passengers. Especially it is not necessary to put in coasters not closed containers with hot liquids at the movement of the car since at possible spraying of liquid the driver can burn and lose driving. |

Back coasters are built in the top cover of the console between back seats. |
Multipurpose display
The multipurpose display (see No. 7 on the illustration Scheme of an Arrangement of Elements of Management on the dashboard) is intended for display of different information. The description of operation of the display in only the mode of display of time, temperature and data of a tempostat is given below. The modes of display of data To/in and audio systems are described in appropriate sections of the Device of ensuring comfort.
External temperature — Is displayed constantly at the included ignition under the inscription "OUTSIDE TEMP" on the display. Range of measurement makes from-30 to +50 hail.
Time — Is displayed when the ignition key is in the provision of "ACC" or "ON". 4 modes of display of time between which switching is made by means of pressing of the CLOCK button are provided.

After a detachment of wires from the rechargeable battery time 1:00 is determined. |
For installation of time choose the corresponding mode (3), enter the current value of hours and minutes, operating with the buttons located under inscriptions according to "H" and "M" in the lower part of the display and in conclusion press the CLOCK button. For installation of time on the signal broadcast expose minutes in 00 value and press the CLOCK button during reception of a signal of time. For installation of an alarm clock choose the corresponding mode (4), enter the current value of hours and minutes, operating with the buttons located under inscriptions according to "H" and "M" in the lower part of the display, and in conclusion press the button under a bell symbol on the display, - about hours the bell symbol has to light up. The alarm clock works every day at the scheduled time. For a stop of a signal of an alarm clock press the CLOCK button. For cancellation of an alarm clock press the button under a bell symbol on the display in the mode of installation of time of an alarm clock.
Data of a tempostat — Are displayed at the activated tempostat under the inscription "CRUISE INFORMATION". Display of these four types between which switching is made by means of pressing of the INFO button is provided. The mode chosen before switching off of ignition is chosen at the subsequent activation of a tempostat.

The mode of display of time of the movement is followed by the signature of "E/T".
The mode of display of average speed of the movement is followed by the inscriptions "AVG MPH" or "AVG km/h"; information is updated each 10 seconds. Average speed pays off proceeding from the passable distance and time since engine launch; for dumping of counters hold the INFO button within more than 1 second.
The mode of display of average fuel consumption is followed by the inscriptions "AVG MPG" or "AVG L/100km"; information is updated each 10 seconds. Average fuel consumption pays off proceeding from the passable distance and amount of the spent fuel since engine launch; for dumping of counters hold the INFO button within more than 1 second.
The mode of display of the current fuel consumption is followed by the inscriptions "MPG" or "L/100km"; information is updated each 2 seconds. The current fuel consumption pays proceeding from the passable distance and amount of the spent fuel in 2 seconds.
Governing bodies and the equipment of salon located on a ceiling
Antisolar peaks and cosmetic mirrors
For use of an antisolar peak lower it, if necessary turn sideways, having released from a clamp, or put forward the extending gate.
Internal rear-view mirror
Before a trip it is necessary to adjust an internal rear-view mirror, turning it so that in its center the center of a window of a door of a back was visible. At the same time the mirror has to be in the day mode.

For switching between the night and day modes move the lever gained behind a mirror, respectively or from itself. |
On the models equipped with a rear-view mirror with a possibility of automatic brightness control for switching between the day and automatic modes the button located on its forward panel serves. At inclusion of the night mode brightness of light of headlights of the cars moving behind will be less, than in the day mode, however at the same time also image sharpness decreases.

Saloon lamps

|
Saloon lamps are located on a ceiling in the central and back part of salon and are run 3-pozitsiony (with provisions of "OFF", "DOOR" and "ON") by the switch which is built in the lamp case. |
Purpose of position of the switch following:
"OFF" — the Lamp remains included even in case of opening of a door;
"DOOR" — When opening any door the lamp will join, and when closing – to be switched off approximately in 15 seconds (at the switched-off ignition);
"ON" — the Lamp is included constantly irrespective of, doors are open or closed.
The lamp will be switched off automatically if:
- All doors are closed, and the ignition key is in the provision of "ACC" or "ON";
- The ignition key is in the provision of "ACC" or "ON", and the lamp is switched on;
- All doors are locked, and the lamp is switched on;
- One of doors is closed and locked from within, and all other doors are locked.
The lamp for reading and a ware box in the ceiling console
The lamp for reading is located on the ceiling console in a forward part of salon and is run by the switch located to the right of it (on models without roof hatch - at the left).

The ware box in the ceiling console is intended for storage of objects with a gross weight no more than 60 гр.

You do not store in this ware box flammable objects since in a sunny weather air in it strongly heats up. |
The switches located on doors
|
|
The procedure of opening/closing of windows of doors outside by means of a key is described in the Section Glasses of doors. |
|
|
Do not allow children to play with switches of window regulators since it can lead to a trauma. Before closing a window, make sure that in a window opening there are no objects which can interfere with its closing. |
Switches of management of a window regulator are built in all doors, and in a driver's door the main block management of window regulators through which it is possible to operate windows of all doors is installed. With the electric drive it is necessary for functioning of window regulators that ignition was included.

For prevention of damage of the mechanism of window regulators it is not necessary to open or close at the same time more than two windows. It will also prolong service life of a safety lock of the electric drive of window regulators. |
Window regulators has the function preventing jamming of the objects which are on the way of glass at its closing – glass after feeling of an obstacle will begin to fall. Nevertheless, do not put out the head and hands in a window since function of prevention of jamming can not work, or not manage to work before getting injured.
For opening of a window pull a forward part of the corresponding switch on a half of its course up. For closing of a window press a forward part of the switch on a half of its course. At full procrastination / pressing of the switch glass will rise/will fall completely. For a glass movement stop slightly influence the switch in the direction, the return to the glass course, and release the switch.
Besides four switches of opening and closing of windows, the switch of blocking of window regulators of passenger doors is installed in the block of a driver's door. At the included blocking it is possible to operate only window regulators of a driver's door. The indicators which are built in switches of window regulators inform the driver on a possibility of opening/closing of a window of the corresponding door.
