5.1.2. Removal, check and installation of the water pump
Bolts of fastening of the water pump
The water pump is located under a cover No. 3 of a belt of the GRM drive and fastens to the block of cylinders four bolts and two nuts.

- Empty the cooling system (see the Section Replacement of the Cooling Liquid (CL)).
- Remove a fairing of a windshield and the top strut of a motive compartment (see the Head Kuzov).
- Take off a GRM drive belt, its cogwheels and a roller No. 2 (see the Section Removal, check and installation of a belt of the GRM drive of its natyazhitel, pulley and cogwheel of a bent shaft, cogwheels of camshafts and intermediate rollers).
- Uncover GRM drive belt No. 3 (see the Section Removal, dismantling, check, assembly and installation of a head of cylinders and its components).
- Turn out fixture of the water pump and remove it together with laying.
- Examine a control opening in a pump housing on existence of leaks and if necessary replace the water pump.
- Rotating a roller of the water pump a hand, check smoothness and ease of the course of its bearing. If necessary replace the water pump.
- Having taken an opportunity, check GRM drive components (see the Section Removal, check and installation of a belt of the GRM drive of its natyazhitel, pulley and cogwheel of a bent shaft, cogwheels of camshafts and intermediate rollers).
- Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Use new laying of the pump, tighten fixture with the required efforts.
